The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart represents the percantage of Australian gong for coffee and tea purchasing and driking habits of different cities in a month.
Overall, people seem to go to cafe in most of the cities as it has been shown by the graph whereas they tends to buy fresh coffee as the least. The purchasing of instant coffee was noticeably significant among the various states in a month.
People who went to cafe for coffee or tea were above 60% from Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart areas recorded as highest. Similarly, residents of Brisbane also has significant proportion of around 56% to go and grab the item. Likewise, there was quite noticeable share of people purchasing instant coffee in which resdients of Hobart were most for more than half percantage which was just above than of Brisbane however it leads only in Adelaide with 50 % share of market in that city.
Residents buying fresh coffee was the lowest in all cites as all of it was below 45% in which 44% was recorded in Sydney, 42% in Melbourne, 37% in Hobart and same value of 34% for both Brisbaen and Adelaide in a month.
