The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram illustrates the result of a research about individuals coffee and tea purchasing and consumption habits in five australian cities. The unit of measurement is in percentage.
Overall, residents that went to a cafe for coffee or tea in the last one month had the highest porportion of buying and drinking habits in five australian mentroplitan. Whereas people that bought fresh coffee in the last four week had the least percentage of purchasing and drinking habits compare to residents that went to cafe.
In sydney the percentage of individuals that went to cafe was approximately 62% compared to poeple who bought instant coffee which way little above half ( 41%). In melbourne the porportion of people who went to cafe was 63% superciding people who bought instant coffee 20 % same does to brisbane before almost leveling off in adelaide and in hobart the percentage moved to 62% and 54% respectivelu.
Individuals who bought fresh coffee in last 4 week has the least porportion, with 43% in sydney which was the higest piont. In melbourne and brisbane it was 41% and 34%. And then moved to 34% and 38% in adelaide and hobart.
