The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
the bar chart shows the percentage of cities of australia who consume fresh coffee,instant coffe or went to a cafe for coffee or tea in the last 4 weeks.
the percentage of people who prefer coffee or tea in a cafe is above in all cities as compared to people who bought instant coffee is slightly low then the first one and also lies between 45 to 55 percent and the number of people who bought fresh coffee is in low percentage as compared to others.
Cafe attendence was high in melbourne which is above 60% and the hobart is also high in cafe attendence which is also above 60% and the sydney which has a slightly high then 60%.Brisbane and adelaide lies in 50 to 55%.
On the other hand the percentage of buying instant coffee lies between 45 to 55% in all cities while sydney has lowest percentage of 45 and hobart has highest percentage of approximately 55% in instant buying of coffee.
the percetage of buying fresh coffee is low as compared to other buying while the percentage of adelaide and brisbane is lowest which is almost 34 percentage and hobart is almost 38% and sydney and Melbourne has highest percentage in fresh buying which lies between 40 to 45%'
