The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar chart depicts information about people's coffee and tea buying as well as drinking habits according to a survey in five different cities of Australia .

Brisbane and Adelaide had the same number of people that bought fresh coffee in last four weeks. Moreover, Brisbane and Hobart had more or less the equal proportion of individuals who had instant coffee in last four weeks. Melbourne had the highest figure for going out for a coffee or tea in 4 weeks.

Initially, 44% of residents of Sydney bought fresh coffee whereas Melbourne had a slightly lower proportion of 42%. Hobart just had 38% individuals buying fresh coffee in 4 weeks, while Brisbane and Adelaide had a similar figure of 34%. Turning to the purchase of instant coffee, Hobart had the largest percentage of 54% followed by Brisbane at 53%. Adelaide had nearly half of the total residents buying instant coffee with Melbourne and Sydney both had 48% and 46% members purchasing instant ones.

Lastly, Melbourne and Hobart recorded the highest figure of 63% people who went out for a coffee or tea. Sydney was the placed second in order for individuals who went out. Brisbane and Adelaide had 55% and nearly 49% city residents who enjoyed drinks at a cafe.
