The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates about sales and population consumtion of coffee and tea in five Australian cities.
Overall, the chart report about the perchases of fresh coffee, instant coffee and take-over of coffee or tea over a period of four weeks. In Sydney the most popular drink is in-preson take-over of coffee or tea, where the fresh coffee and instant coffee show a decline over it, followed by Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart where the same trend was reflected. In contrast, Adelaide major sales was instant coffee. The second most popular one is instant coffee in all major cities and the last place surprisingly was fresh coffee.
The highest selling were in-person orders of coffee or tea accounted over 60% in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, while Brisbane was around 55%. Meanwhile, there is a decline in Adelaide where it represented below 50%.
The chart clearly presenting the sales of in-person orders of coffee or tea were major in all five cities which shows people's perferance to go to cafe and get the drinks.
