The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The chart depicts the data of buying capacity and the habit of drinking the coffe and tea in five different countries of Australia for last 4 weeks.
Overall, the number of people who brought instant coffee is higher than those who brought fresh coffee in all the cities. While the preferance of people to drink coffe or tea on cafe is different in almost every city.
In the case of fresh coffee, people of Sydney and Melbourne spend the highest amount of more than 40% in last four weeks. Moreover, natives of Hobart also brough more than 35% fresh coffe. While, people of Brisbane and Adelaide spend only ablut 30%. On the other hand, instant coffe was more in demand in Horbart, Brisbance and Adelaide such as; nearly 55%, more than 50% and 50%, respectively. In contrast, people of Melbourne and Sydney showed the least intrest in buying the instant coffee of about more than 45% and slightely higher than 45%, respectively.
Furthermore, the habit of experiencing the cafe environment for drinking purpose was more prominent in the people of Melbourne tand Hobart that was; nearly 65%. Wherase the least intrest was shown by the people of Adelaide that was almost 50%.
