The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The chart compares the result of research about individuals who purchasing and drinking coffee and tea habits in five Australian cities namely, sidney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.
Overall, residents who went to a cafe for coffee or tea were the highest category in most of the cities. Meanwhile, bought fresh coffee was generally the least popular. Melbourne was the largest percentage customers who went to cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks.
In terms of participants who went to cafe for coffee and tea in last 4 weeks, Melbourne was the largest proportion at 64%. Followed by hobart around 63% of humans who went to cafe for coffee or tea. Sydney experienced 61% of costumers results. In contrast, Brisbane and Adelaide were significantly different from the other country around 55% and 45%.
On the other hand, Sydney was the biggest spender who bought fresh coffee at 44% in last 4 weeks. Melbourne recorded slightly different with sydney around 43% consumer. Hobart showed the upward trend after melbourne reached 38%. In contrast, Brisbane got the lowest value at 34% before Adelaide were the lowest at about 34% each.
The trend for bought instant coffee, Hobart was the most popular reached almost 55%. Brisbane gradually different from Hobart at 53% citizens who bought instant coffee.It was following by Adelaide and Melbourne were in the same level 40% between 43% and almost 50% buyers who ordered instant coffee. Sydney was the least of residents who interested to bought instant coffee
