The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The bar graph represents the outcomes of survey among 5 different cities based on people's coffee and tea purchasing habbits in for last four weeks in Australia.

Overall, In majority of cities residents went to cafe for beverages, with the exception of the Adelaide. Conversely, buying fresh coffee was the least common in the past few weeks.

Visting cafe for coffee and tea was more or less 63% in Melbourne and Hobart, which represnts the highest number , following this is Sydeny with just above 60%, Brisbane and Adelaide remains in bottom with less than 55% of people going to cafe.

On the other hand, purchase of instant coffee was at an average with all the cities below 55%, with Hobart and Brisbane at top with approximately 54% and 52 % repectively. Similarly, sales of fresh coffee was minimum during the survey, with just below 45% in Sydney moreover, Brisbane and Adelaide stands on same postion with considerably higher than 30%, but still remians less significant.
