The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart provides information regarding a survey about people's coffee and tea purchasing and drinking habits between five Australian cities.
Overall, it is clear that going to a cafe was the most popular habit in most cities, except in Adelaide. In addition, buying fresh coffee was the least common activity across all five cities.
Looking to the cafe visits, Melbourne had the highest percentage of people who went to a cafe, with around 63%. Sydney and Hobart followed closely, both showing just over 60%. In Brisbane, approximately 56% of residents visited a cafe. In contrast, Adelaide recorded the lowest figure for this activity at around 49% where buying instant coffee was slightly more common at 50%.
Regarding coffee purchases, instant coffee was consistently more popular than fresh coffee in every city. Hobart and Brisbane had the highest figures for instant coffee at roughly 53% and 52% respectively. Sydney had the lowest percentage for instant coffee at about 45%. On the other hand, fresh coffee had lower numbers everywhere; Sydney recorded the highest rate at nearly 44%, followed by Melbourne at around 42%, while Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart all had lower figures between 34% and 38%.
