The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the proportion of people's coffee and tea buying habit in the last four weeks across five cities in Autralia.

Overall, the majority of residents went to a cafe to bought tea or coffee followed by instant coffee in five different cities except Adelaide, where the people who bought instant coffee outnumbered those who went to a cafe.

In most of the cities, over half of population visited a cafe. Melbourne and Hobart showed the highest proportion of people at around 63% and 62% respectively, followed by sydney and brisbane, ranging between almost 55-60%. By contrast, Adelaide showed the proportion less than 50%.

Interms of instant coffee, the figures remained between 45-55%, with highest proportion recorded in hobart just around at 54%. meanwhile, the figures for freshly bought coffee remained between 35-45% where Sydney has highest proportion of people at around 44% while, Adelaide and Beisbane, both showed percentages at just 34%.
