The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the result of the survey as proportion of city inhabitants in five Australian cities. The main topic of discussion is about coffee and tea buying and drinking habbits.

People who bought fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks were in Sydney i.e, around 44% of residents. Melbourne residents proportion was approximately 43%, Hobat proportion was around 38%, Adelaide proportion was approximately 35% and the least was observed in Brisbane about 34%. Hobart was the leading city in which around 54% resident's proportion bought instant coffee in the last 4 weeks, Brisbane came in second as it's resident proportion that bought was around 53%. Adelaide observed 50% of residents buying the instat coffee. Melbourne also reside at aroound 48% and the least was observed in Sydney around 46% of city residents.

The proportion of residents who went to a cafe for coffee or tea was most observed in Melbourne around 64% being the most prominent in the chart. Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane saw a proportion of aorund 63%, 61% and 55% repectively. The least proportion is observed in Adelaide around 49%.

In conclusion, the chart shows that more people tends to go to cafe for coffee or tea. The only expception in this trend was Adelaide that saw more proportion of people buying instant coffee.
