The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The bar chat illustrates the outcomes of a survey about habits of buying coffee, tea and drinking of it in five australian cities named Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and hobart. The units were measured in percentages.

Overall, the most noticeable feature was that proportion of went to a cafe for coffee and tea in last 4 weeks was greates in all cities, In contrast proportion of boughtfresh coffee in last 4 weeks was least in all cities except Adelaide.

To begin with, buying of coffee and tea and went to the cafe was almost same for Sydney and Melbourne around 44%. 52% and 63%. Likewise in Hobart portion of bought fresh coffee and instant coffee and went to a cafe for it in last 4 week is accounted for 38%, 54% and 63%.

In Brisbane bought fresh coffe noted least among all cities at around 33%, while portion of other categories seen at 52% and 56%. As like it Adelaide stood out at 34%, 50% and 49% respectvely.
