The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given bar chart illustrates the survey of buying tea and coffee for drinking purpose in five different cities of Australia. Noticeably, highest percentage of the people went to the cafe to drink coffee and tea in last 4 week which was highest in all five cities.
In sydney, 62% individuals like to drink coffee and tea in cafe whereas only 44% people like to bought fresh coffee and 46% instant coffee. Adelaide city prefer less to drink coffee which is remain at least in all five cities. it was only 34% people like drink fresh coffee which was similar to Brisbane cities. In Adelaide nearly half percantage of people like to drink coffee at cafe which was similar to people who like to drink instant coffee in Adelaide city.
In Melbourne, highest proportion of people like to drink coffee at cafe, which was 63% which also remain highest among 5 cities. similarly, Hobart city give competition to Melbourne in drinking coffee at cafe. Nearly one fourth of people like to drink instant coffee at Hobart.
Overall, bought fresh coffee was least favorite and went to a cafe for tea and coffee is most prefer by all five cities individuals.
