Student answer (Band 4.0)
This bar graph disply five cities in Australia and there people routine for a month about intrest in cofee as well as tea. This is clear by graph that mostly induviduals intrested in went to cafe for tea and coffee moreover people also interested to bought instant coffee. The last average shows for those individuals that bought fresh cofee.
In most of the country include europe as well as asian its a common rutine of people to drank cofee and tea. Some of them do this to finish there stress and take a freshment. As well as the ritch people start there day by take breafast by it.
In asian countries like Pakistan and India majority of people are workless so they are free whole day and have nothing to do exept to go hotel and tea shop to see movies and drank tea to spent there time.
I presume that its a good thing for those individuals like business men and other that take it only for re freshment and not made it a daily routine like drug addicts. And it is dangerous for that people that take it at least 6 to 7 time in a day to spent there time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The response addresses the prompt only partially, as the writer struggles to accurately summarize the provided visual data. While there is an attempt to mention coffee and tea habits across five Australian cities, the text quickly drifts into irrelevant personal opinions and broad generalizations about Asian countries, failing to report the main features or make proper comparisons of the percentages shown in the bar chart. To reach a higher level, the response must focus strictly on the data presented in the visual, accurately selecting and comparing the statistical figures for fresh coffee, instant coffee, and café visits without introducing outside commentary.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0
The organization of the text is hindered by a lack of logical progression and poor paragraphing. Ideas are bundled together without clear transitions, making it difficult for the reader to follow a structured argument or summary. While basic transitional words like 'moreover' are attempted, referencing and cohesive devices are inadequate or misused throughout the response. Achieving a clearer logical flow requires grouping related data points together, ensuring each paragraph has a distinct focus, and using appropriate cohesive ties to connect sentences and ideas smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, containing numerous word form and spelling errors that strain the reader, such as 'disply', 'intrest', 'cofee', 'induviduals', and 'ritch'. There is a limited range of vocabulary appropriate for an Academic task, relying heavily on simple terms. To improve lexical resource, the student should expand their range of functional vocabulary for describing data trends and ensure correct spelling and word forms, such as distinguishing between nouns and verbs like 'bought' versus 'buy' or 'refreshment' versus 're freshment'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammatical structures are very limited and repetitive, featuring frequent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions. Examples such as 'mostly induviduals intrested in went to cafe', 'people also interested to bought', and 'to drank cofee' demonstrate a lack of control over basic sentence patterns. Furthermore, punctuation is largely neglected. To progress, the writer needs to practice forming accurate simple and complex sentences, paying careful attention to verb forms, infinitive structures, and grammatical agreements.
