The bar graph presents the information of particular month regarding how often the individual drink coffee or tea in five different cities of Australia.
Overall mostly in all cities people prefer to go to cafe for coffee or tea while Adelaide is the exception.
In term of cafe attendance, Melbourne and Hobart recorded the highest percentage with approximately 63% of their total residents visiting the cafe in last four weeks, followed by Sydney at around 61%. In contrast Sydney and Melbourne's people prefer fresh coffee with 44% and 43% while Brisbane and Adelaide recorded the lowest figure, with both sitting around 34%.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the main pattern that café visits were generally the most popular activity, with Adelaide as the exception, and you support this with relevant figures for all five cities. The café comparisons are mostly accurate, as are the fresh-coffee figures for Brisbane and Adelaide. However, the overview could be more precise: Adelaide’s café figure is slightly below its instant-coffee figure, rather than simply an exception to a general preference. There is also a factual error in saying Melbourne and Hobart had the highest café attendance; Hobart and Melbourne are close, but Hobart is marginally higher. The account of fresh coffee is incomplete because Sydney and Melbourne are not compared with Hobart. Selecting and explaining these key contrasts more accurately would make the summary more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a brief overview, and separate discussion of café visits and coffee purchases. This makes the main categories easy to follow, and phrases such as “In contrast” help signal comparisons. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “This was followed by Brisbane and Adelaide” does not clearly indicate that the figures refer to instant coffee, and “In contrast Sydney and Melbourne’s people…” shifts abruptly to fresh coffee. The overview also does not fully prepare the reader for the detailed comparisons that follow. Use clearer topic sentences and refer explicitly to each activity when changing categories; this would strengthen progression and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of task-related vocabulary, including “recorded,” “accounted,” “percentage,” and “registered,” and the reader can understand the comparisons. However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “information of particular month,” “cafe attendants,” and “people prefer purchase.” Repetition of “percentage” and “people” also limits flexibility. Some expressions, including “highest portion,” do not fit naturally when describing survey results. Aim for precise chart language and natural collocations, such as “the proportion of residents” and “visited a café.” More consistent control of these choices would make the report clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including comparisons with “while” and “followed by,” and most of the message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors are present, however. The opening has a faulty structure in “The bar graph presents the information of particular month,” while “how often the individual drink” has an incorrect verb form and number. There are also agreement errors in “Brisbane also show” and “Sydney and Melbourne are recorded,” as well as missing articles in phrases such as “in last four weeks.” These errors do not generally prevent understanding, but they reduce accuracy. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms, and proofread each sentence after drafting.
