The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The maps illustrate the layout of library floor plan in the past and after the reconstruct and how it looks now.

Overall, the library has been extensively modernized. The old reading change with the new technologies. Serval areas change in the library with new amenities such as cafe, computer room and lecture room.

Previously, the entrance directly led to the enquiry table and chairs and tables located in the center of the library. The library was divided into the sections, with adult fiction books and adult non-fiction books. It were newspaper and magazines in the old reading room. It were CDs and computer room in the old library.

After, the reconstruction of the library now it look modern and different. The enquiry desk change with the cafe. It has a computer room and information desk. In the corner of the library the sofa sitting area with children fiction books. All reference books are available in the modern library. It also has a lecture room.
