The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Central Library 20 years ago

Student answer (Band 6.5)

At the entrance of the library,you come across the tables and chairs.At the right to the entrance, thete's an Enquiry Desk from where we can get the tickets.We can also get the information from there regarding the books and they can also issues us the book if we desire which we have to return them on time so the other readers can also access them.At the left to the entrance,there's a Reading Room.In tat room,there are newspapers and magazines whereas journals can also be found.In the middle,there are two sections designated for Adult Fictious Books and Non Fictious Adult Books.At the top right,there's a room available espically for children's.In that room,childrten's books are available which includes course books,ethical books,genearal knowledge and many more realated to them.At the top left,there's a CDs,Videos and Computer Games Room.This was the Central Library 20 years ago.

Whereas todays library is different as compared to the past.At the right to the entrance,there's a Cafe which is new as there was an Enquiry Desk.To the left,there's Computer Room althought there was reading room in the past.The middle section is divided into two parts, All Refrence Books are at the left section whereas the right section comprises of Adult Fiction Books,Information Desk and Self Service Machines and this is totally different from the past as there were no Self Service Machines.At the top left,there's a Story Telling Room and Child Fictions Room as in the past it was computer room.Whereas in the top right,there's a Lecture Room.The Library has totally changed with the course of time.
