The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)
The diagrams illustrate the layout changes of a central library over the past 20 years.
Overall, the library has undergone significant moderinization, with traditional book sections replaced by digital facilities, a lecture room and a cafe.
The reading room located located to the left of the main entrance has been changed into a computer room. The adult fiction books has been relocated to the right side of the library, and ita former site now contain all reference books. Meanwhile, the room previously dedicated to CDs, videos, computer games has been replaced by a storytelling area fitted with two sofas and a children's fiction books. Moreover, the tables and chairs have been removed from the center of the library.
The enquiry desk near the entrance has been transformed into a cafe with information desk and self-service machines adjacent to it. Lastly, the children's books area has been succeeded by a lecture room.
