Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have identified the main changes, such as the addition of the cafe and the computer room, and the repurposing of the children's area. However, the response lacks a clear, analytical overview. The summary provided at the end is too vague ('Everything is changed') and does not highlight the most significant trends or transformations. Furthermore, some descriptions are inaccurate or confusing, such as stating there is 'nothing' in the center when the floor plan shows a new layout. To improve, ensure you group information logically—perhaps by comparing the layout of the left and right sides—and provide a more detailed summary of the overall transformation in the introduction or conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The response is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the flow of ideas is often disjointed. Transitions like 'To begun with' (which contains a grammatical error) and 'Furthermore' are used, but the logical progression between sentences is weak. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the spatial changes. For example, jumping between the left side, the entrance, and the cafe without a clear spatial anchor makes the description feel like a list rather than a cohesive report. Using more precise cohesive devices to link spatial locations would improve the clarity of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally functional but limited. You rely on basic verbs like 'added', 'replaced', and 'built', which are repetitive. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'room of CDs' instead of 'a collection of CDs' or 'multimedia area'. Additionally, there are minor errors in pluralization, such as 'sofa's' (which should be 'sofas'). To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise terminology related to floor plans and spatial descriptions, such as 'relocated', 'transformed', 'converted', or 'situated'. Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and nouns will make your report more professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('there was Tables', 'there was computer room'), incorrect verb tenses ('now there was'), and missing articles ('entrance is on same place'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence forms. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Additionally, try to vary your sentence structure by using relative clauses or passive voice to describe the changes, which would demonstrate a better command of English grammar.
