The diagram illustrates the transformation of the Central Library's layout over a span of two decades, highlighting a clear modernization aimed at enhancing user comfort and utility.

​Twenty years ago, the facility was divided into distinct sections for various media types. The children's section was dedicated exclusively to books, whereas another section was allocated for CDs, videos, and computer games. Additionally, the adult section was distributed into fiction and non-fiction areas. The reading room was specially arranged for newspapers and magazines, while the far corner housed the enquiry desk, which handled ticket sales, book returns, and general services.

​In contrast, the library has undergone significant restructuring today. The children's area now contains books, sofas, and an open space designated for storytelling events. The adult section has been consolidated into a single area, complemented by an information desk and newly installed automated machines. Furthermore, the library has expanded its services to include a dedicated computer room and a café. However, the tables and chairs that once occupied the center of the library have been entirely removed
