The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given data completely potraits the changes in the Central library from the past 20 years. The changes in the library attracted many over time.
Overall, the section for the adult's fiction and non fiction books occupied a small part of the room after the renovation of the library.The childrens books and Storytelling events were in a specified room so that the people and the children can seat and relax when reading the books.Newly added information desk made it easier for the people to easily locate and find the books they need.
The previous children's books room was converted into a lecture room so that the people can understand the topics. Cafe was added in the central library along with few self service machines, so that most of the people can relax in the library with a cup of coffee. Which was previously placed in the center of the room with few tables ans chairs.
The reading room(newspapers and magazines) was replaced with a computer room so that persons cam acess the data through the internet also. The most interesting part of this is that the Enguiry dest for tickets, book returns, etc was removed and the library was free to the public.
