The maps display how a central library has developed since 2000.
Overall, the central library has been completely transformed, with substantial changes.
Twenty years ago, the library had a designated room in the upper-left corner of the map for CDs, videos, and computer games. Opposite it, there was an area assigned for children's books. The adult fiction and adult non-fiction books were located directly opposite each other in the central portion of the map. Adjacent to the entrance, on the left corner, a reading room was located, containing newspapers and magazines. Meanwhile, an enquiry desk was placed in the right for enquiries about tickets, book returns, and other services.
Presently, the entrance remains the same. To the left, the reading room has been converted into a computer room, while a café has been constructed to the right. The adult fiction section has been replaced by a reference section, which has been relocated to the middle-right of the library. Opposite it, an information desk and self-service machines have been installed. In the upper-right corner of the library, a lecture room has been constructed, while opposite it, a room for children's fiction books has been added. Sofas have been installed in this room, and storytelling events are held there.
