The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram depicts the maps of floor of the library about 20 years ago and compare it with new design of development.
Overall, it can be seen clearly that there were four large room in four corners of library with two sitting tables in the center two decade ago. However, Now the rooms and their location remain same but the tables from center are removed. While, There are number of alteration in function of rooms.
In first stage, There was a entrance in the north side and round table infornt of entrance of the library. There were two areas in the west and east area of tables called adult fiction and non-adult fiction books.There were a children's book in north-east and CDs and computer games in north west corner of library. Similarly, Reading room in south west corner and enquiry room in south east corner.
In contrast to present structure, The location of rooms remain same but round sitting area is removed now. The sofa sitting is place in children fiction books room in north east corner. In addition,
