The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.0)

The two diagrams shows the difference between central library was in 20 years ago and how it looks now. The old library structure is good in past time but now a days new technologies are present. So everything should need to be changes with the passage of time. You notice one thing in old library there is no cafeteria is present, for students and general peoples. Either you notice one thing more the older library is outdated the manual enquiry desk is present where you buy tickets and books return policy. But in new library there is a self service machines like you just enter or scan your student card or library card to get access of books. This is the big achivement and the use of technology. So in my point of view the new library should be getting more enhancement in future. And in a new library is well organized different sections/rooms as then a previous ones.
