The diagram below represents the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how its developed now.
Overall, major changes have occurred in the library like tables and chairs have removed now and now it has developed like computer room and machinery has been installed.
Firstly, children’s books room has now transformed to lecture room. The portion for adult non-fiction books removed and now self-service machines installed. The portion of enquiry desk has now become big and cafeteria is built and besides that information desk is available.
Furthermore, on the west side of library in the south has computer lab which was reading room 2 decades ago containing magazines and newspapers. Additionally, adult fiction books portion is now removed and small all reference books portion is now available. Lastly, CDs, videos and computer games room has now widened where story telling events occur containing sofas and kids fiction books.
