The given diagram illustrates that floor plan of public library which was designed 20 years ago and how it looks nowadays.

There are many changes that are done in 20 years. In today's library, all tables and chairs are removed from the middle of library. All previous rooms are replaced by new one's. As we can see the room in which children books are placed now it becomes lecture room. Similarly adult non-fiction books area with adult fiction books, information desk, self service machines and inquiry desk where people can get tickets and return books with cafe. Moreover reading room where people can read newspapers and magazines with computer roon. place where adult fiction books are placed nowadays books are replaced by reference books. All types of reference books for students are available there. The room in which video games, CD's are available now it is modify and become a storytelling events and children fiction books room. Furthermore two sofa's are palced in this room for children's. All changings are remarkable but one thing is disappointing that is the removal of tables and chairs. That thing is very incovenient for visitors.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify several important changes, including the removal of the central tables and chairs, the conversion of the former media room into a children’s fiction/storytelling room, and the addition of a lecture room and café. However, the comparison is only partly accurate and some key changes are unclear. For example, the children’s books room became the lecture room, while the adult non-fiction area became adult fiction with an information desk and self-service machines; your sentence combines these changes with the old enquiry desk and café, making their locations confusing. The reading room became a computer room, rather than being combined with one. The response also lacks a clear, factual overview of the main reorganisation, and the personal judgement that the changes are “disappointing” is not appropriate for this summary task. Select and report the changes more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response follows a broadly chronological comparison, moving from the former layout to the current one, and linking phrases such as “Similarly,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, there is no clear paragraph structure or distinct overview, so the reader has to work out the main pattern of change. Several details are crowded into one sentence, especially the description beginning “Similarly adult non-fiction books area,” which makes the locations and transformations difficult to follow. The repeated use of “room in which” and “place where” also makes the progression feel repetitive, while “All changings are remarkable” does not clearly connect to the preceding factual description. Group the changes by area and use clear references to distinguish old and new locations.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for describing a library plan, including “floor plan,” “reference books,” “self service machines,” and “newspapers and magazines.” There is also an attempt to use a range of verbs for change, such as “removed,” “replaced,” and “become.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “all previous rooms are replaced” overstates the changes, and “adult non-fiction books area with adult fiction books” is not a clear description. Spelling and word-form errors such as “inquiry” for the plan’s “enquiry,” “computer roon,” “palced,” and “changings” reduce precision. Use exact labels from the diagram and choose verbs such as “was converted into” or “was relocated” to describe each change accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with linking words, but control of sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors occur in basic patterns, for example “illustrates that floor plan” needs an article, and “the room … now it becomes lecture room” joins clauses awkwardly and uses an unsuitable tense. The sentence beginning “Similarly adult non-fiction books area” lacks a clear grammatical subject and becomes difficult to parse as several features are added. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and agreement, as in “two sofa’s” and “All types of reference books … is available.” These errors sometimes make relationships between features unclear. Practise concise past-to-present comparisons using complete sentences, consistent past and present tenses, and accurate articles and plural forms.
