By owning a home, they will breath a sigh of releif and make mest of their salary- As new homes will built A huge boost to economy is by construction of new homes. As building material suppher get the benefit by providing it, contractor will

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the importance of home ownership and an evaluation of whether this is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The reasons for ownership are clear, but the discussion on the negative impacts is less detailed and relies on generalizations. The position is stated in the introduction but could be more consistently maintained throughout the body paragraphs. While the ideas are relevant, they lack the depth required for a higher band score. The essay covers the requirements, but the analysis of the 'positive or negative' aspect is quite brief and could benefit from more nuanced argumentation.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'On this hand' (which is a misuse of the idiom 'On the one hand') and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of linking words is limited. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the punctuation, particularly the use of hyphens instead of periods or commas, disrupts the flow of the text. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs needs improvement to ensure a smoother reading experience.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety expected at higher levels. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'suppher' (supplier) and 'breath a sigh of releif' (breathe a sigh of relief). The essay relies on relatively simple vocabulary, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions used accurately. While the meaning is generally clear, the spelling errors and limited range of vocabulary restrict the score. To improve, you should focus on using more precise terminology related to economics and urban development.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Most people wants'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'will turned', 'will built'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also problematic, with hyphens used incorrectly to separate independent clauses. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. A greater focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency would be highly beneficial.
