Student answer (Band 5.5)
In some countries, owning a home insted of ranting one is significant for individuals. This is mainly due to people want financial security and a stable place to live. In my opinion, this is generally positive situation.
There are several reasons why people prefer own a home. First of all, owning property provide a sense of security and stability. Home owners do not have any worry about rent or any person asking to leave a property. They also decorated or renovate their according to their choices. Secondly, home is one type a long investment by future. Property price day by day increased, so individuals can build wealth and potentially sell their homes for a profit in a future.
In addition, owning a house can provide financial security after retirement of any other jobs due to people may not need to pay monthly rent. Meanwhile built a house for longer something two floor in the house . The second floor want to rent each other people who need to house so one type monthly income is started.
I believe that this trend is mostly positive. One major advantage is that homeowners have greate control over their living environment. Moreover, property ownership can provide financial support for future generations because a house can be used for her, his children.
In conclusion, people prefer owning homes because it offer stability, independence and long term financial benefits. Althought a purchased hoes, it is create a financial pressure as well as some time take a loan or dubts. I believe that home ownership is generally a positive development in our life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: explaining the importance of home ownership and providing an opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The ideas are relevant, covering financial security, stability, and investment potential. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation regarding renting out a second floor is slightly confusing and lacks clarity. While the position is clear throughout, the supporting arguments could be more sophisticated and better structured to reach a higher band. The conclusion acknowledges the drawbacks, which adds a degree of balance, though the expression of these points is hampered by language errors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'Secondly', 'In addition', and 'Moreover' are used to signal the progression of ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'Meanwhile built a house for longer something two floor'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother. Overall, the essay is coherent, but the lack of sophisticated linking makes it fall into the 6.0 band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors ('insted', 'ranting', 'greate', 'Althought', 'hoes', 'dubts') and some awkward collocations ('one type a long investment', 'take a loan or dubts'). While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'financial security', 'investment', and 'living environment', the overall control is inconsistent. To improve, the student should focus on accurate spelling and learning more natural word combinations related to property and finance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('owning property provide', 'it offer'), incorrect verb forms ('people prefer own a home', 'people may not need to pay'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student needs to focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage.
