Student answer (Band 4.5)
It has been observed that, small number of countries have their own home in workplace even though renting one is most benificial for individuals. In my perception, this is detrimental to large extent because having a home is not an ordinary thing and it should be used over the time period. My preference is justified in upcoming paragraphs with valid reason and examples.
The fundamental reason for my inclination is that, houses are becoming increasingly expensive throughout the world. Moreover, begin a owner of the house is most respective thing in society. Moreover, In human's day-to day life there are facing various types of difficulties in their financial level such as children's tutions fee, house chores items, transporation for work or studies, As a result, they become debtors and take loan from bank and and particular finance. Moreover, it is totally unbalance their financial calculation. However, most amazing thing is that they preserve thier home rent which contributes to pay other expenses.

For instance, whenever a person live in flat or bungalow so accomodation goes upwards and it becomes more expensive than imagination.
In countrary, the positives should not be disregarded. To begin with, in some case citizens buy ranted house because thay are living far from their own house and save transportation and other expences. It surged compair to live in their own house.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5
The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt regarding why homeownership is important and whether this trend is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is severely hindered by confusing phrasing and a misunderstanding of the core premise. The student writes, 'small number of countries have their own home in workplace even though renting one is most benificial', which creates confusion right from the start. While the essay touches on reasons like social respect and financial struggles, the arguments are poorly supported and lack logical coherence. The position taken is that homeownership is 'detrimental to large extent', yet the reasoning shifts erratically between discussing financial stress and the benefits of renovation. As a result, the task is only partially addressed, earning a band score of 4.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The organisational structure of the essay is problematic, making it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is frequently faulty or mechanical. The excessive repetition of transition markers such as 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore' fails to connect ideas smoothly. For instance, the second paragraph links disparate points about housing expenses, social status, and bank loans without logical transitions. Furthermore, referencing is unclear at times, such as 'It surged compair to live in their own house.' Because information and ideas are not arranged in a consistently coherent manner, the text aligns closely with the descriptors for Band 4.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent errors in word choice and collocation that frequently strain the reader. Examples include phrases like 'begin a owner', 'tutions fee', and 'financial calculation'. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'detrimental', 'possession', and 'renovate', but these are often used inaccurately or inappropriately in context, as seen in 'preserve thier home rent' or 'accomodation goes upwards'. Spelling and morphological errors are prevalent throughout the text. The lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for expressing simple ideas, but the density of errors places it firmly at a band score of 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical control is weak throughout the essay. The text relies heavily on simple sentence forms, and attempts at complex structures are almost invariably faulty. There are persistent errors in basic grammar, including subject-verb agreement ('there are facing', 'it is totally unbalance'), articles ('small number of countries', 'most respective thing'), and preposition use. Punctuation is also erratic, with misplaced commas and run-on structures. Frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning in multiple places. Given the scarcity of error-free sentences and the limited range of accurate structures, a band score of 4.0 is appropriate.
