Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by explaining why home ownership is important and offering a clear opinion that this is a positive situation. Ideas are presented, such as financial loans and the freedom to renovate, but they lack full development and generalise broadly. For example, the statement that 'banks give many loan for buy thier own home' touches upon a valid reason, but the supporting arguments remain somewhat repetitive and basic. The position is clear throughout, aligning with the requirements for Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently mechanical and faulty. Phrases like 'The primary reason to support this initiative that nowatime...' and 'The Second motive to favor this stance...' are rigid. Referencing and logical progression occasionally break down due to phrasing issues, such as 'additionallly, so many ;people think...', which places this criterion at a Band 5.5, rounded to a 5.0 for overall mechanical cohesion flaws.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, with frequent word-choice errors and spelling mistakes such as 'countires', 'taxi' instead of 'taxes/terms', 'addidionally', and 'sale' instead of 'sell'. While the student attempts less common vocabulary like 'initiative' and 'life styles', the inaccurate collocations ('take fully their home access', 'reach the money') impede smooth reading and clearly reflect the descriptors for Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical control is weak. There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and article usage, such as 'for changing their home', 'for buy thier own home', and 'in rent home you need to permission'. Punctuation is also flawed, as seen with the semicolon misuse in the second paragraph. These errors cause occasional difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar at a Band 5.
