IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In some countries owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's contemporary world, everyone has a basic right to live in a home or an appartment wheater it will be rented or their own. In considerabal amount of contries it is very vital for public to live in their own house instead of giving rents every month for home. In this essay I will address that why most people prefre thier own home and is this is a effective or worst situation for us.
To address why might this be the case, an increaseing number of people in many countries want to save the rent money for their future career without giving it for monthly renting. Meanwhile, they prefered to purchase a home one time and live in them over their lifetime without any hesitation, and stress about rent. Secondly, they want to invest the rented funds on anythings else to start their own business by saving some amount from rent and other related expenses. For instance, many Pakistani people prefer to spending out their lives in their own home rather than living in a rented house from many years. As a result, they have very minore pressure about renting money to give it monthly wise.
To answer is it is positive or negative situation, I strongly believe that this is negative situation because a growing number of people still like to live in rented house rather than their own. Meanwhile, they have the capability to buy a large land of house but still not purchase it. A major reason behind this is they invest a large amount of funds in business and other corporation instead of purchasing home. Furthermore, they aruge that if our enterprise run successfully than purchaing a home is not such a big deal for them. Means they focus more on business related task rather than personal facilitation and assisment. To cite an example, many billioner have not their home as well as they also pay for their business land. Resultantly, it is a negative situation to live in your own home and have not any active income from your business or anything else.
In conclusion, many people prefar to live in their own home because they argue that paying one time can provide faclilties like future career, lower stress about rent, and saving renting money. In stark contrast, I firmly believe that this is a negative stituation because living in your own home without any active income, business mind, and lower invesment in trade is not prefarable by professional people.
