Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is considerd that the owing a house is considerd more vital than renting a one. This preference is mainly due to financial security and social expertation. From my perespective, this is generally a positive situation because the can live without stress.
On the one hand, there are several reason why people prefer their homes. Firsty, a house is considered a long term investment. instead of paying rent every month with getting ownership, people can invest their money in a property that can doubled with in one to two years. For example, home owner can sell their property in the future and use this money for retairment or doing a business. Secondly, owing a home provides a greater sense of stabiity. individuals do not have to worry about owner increase the rent of house or asking them to leave the house. For instance, in some societies home ownership is asspciated with financia and social status which encouages people to puchase a property.

In constrast, a renting house individuals can not paint or redesign their house with free command thry need to get the permission from owner. Additionally, people who owning a property a considered stress and dimentia free becuase they dont have to about rent.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The student addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing why owning a home is important (financial security and social status) and giving a clear position that it is a positive situation. Ideas are generally relevant, though some arguments are a bit simplistic or over-generalized, such as the claim that property values double within one to two years. The main positions are supported with examples and explanations, fitting well within the criteria for Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response is structured into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall logical arrangement. Paragraphing is attempted, with the second body paragraph exploring renovation benefits. However, cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or faulty, such as the abrupt transitions and repetitive sentence structures ('On the one hand', 'On the other hand'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical progression is disrupted by mechanical errors, placing this performance at a Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, touching upon relevant themes such as 'investment', 'financial security', 'renovate', and 'stability'. However, there are frequent spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'considerd', 'expertation', 'perespective', 'stabiity', 'asspciated', 'puchase', 'constrast', and 'dimetia'. Less common lexical items are attempted but often marred by inaccurate spelling or collocation, which restricts the lexical score to a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical and mechanical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('the owing a house', 'a renting house'), incorrect prepositions ('with getting ownership'), and subject-verb agreement issues ('owner increase', 'people who owning'). While communication is generally maintained despite these flaws, the high frequency of errors prevents the score from rising above Band 5.0.
