Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that ownership provides an asset and freedom to personalise a home, and you mention renting’s flexibility and regular payments. However, the response does not clearly explain why owning a home is especially important in some countries; the reasons are presented generally rather than linked to social or cultural circumstances. Your position is also inconsistent: the opening says the situation has positive and negative aspects, while the conclusion says renting is better, without directly judging whether the strong preference for ownership is positive or negative. Develop this judgement explicitly and support each main reason with a more relevant explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for ownership and renting, and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” helps readers follow the two sides. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to track because ideas are joined mechanically with repeated phrases such as “This is because,” “As a result,” and “for instance.” Some links do not clearly express the relationship between claims, and the conclusion does not resolve the contrast between the opening and your final preference for renting. Use fewer, more precise transitions, organise each paragraph around one clear point, and make the final paragraph directly answer the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “asset,” “properties,” “fixed amount,” and “industrial area,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear: “make asset,” “safe people from get bankrupt,” and “wide range of positive site.” Spelling errors such as “relible,” “posetive,” “purchesing,” and “apertment” are also noticeable. Aim to learn common housing collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “build up an asset,” “avoid financial hardship,” and “greater flexibility” would help communicate your ideas naturally and accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some complex sentences, for example, “This is because properties can assist in future during individuals needed,” and use basic linking structures to explain reasons. However, many sentences contain frequent errors in articles, verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction, which can make the reader work to understand the point. Examples include “owning home is very importance,” “people don't required finance,” and “every home onwer are financially stable.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, including spaces before commas and lowercase sentence openings. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses. Check articles, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms when editing each sentence.
