Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you give reasons for home ownership, including high rents, limited space in rented accommodation, and greater freedom to alter a home, and you clearly state that you see this as positive. The examples of parties and restrictions in rental properties help make the second reason relevant. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the claim that saving rent for five years can buy a house needs qualification or support, and the discussion of small rented homes is generalised. The conclusion repeats your position but could explain more directly why these benefits outweigh any disadvantages. Develop the reasons with clearer explanation and more balanced support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, and a conclusion. The ideas generally follow a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “Another reason,” “However,” and “Furthermore” help show relationships. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear or repetitive: the first body paragraph moves from rent costs to house size without a clear transition, while “Another reason” is used to introduce both a new paragraph and a point within the earlier discussion. Some references, such as “These” and “this situation,” are not fully precise. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s main idea and connect supporting details more explicitly; also check sentence boundaries and spacing so the organisation is easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “renting,” “owning a house,” “financial experts,” “modify,” and “regulations.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “maximum number of people.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “house,” “people,” and “do,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, including “renting price,” “in their own,” and “handle people’s life.” Spelling errors such as “significanly,” “Prople,” and “Neevertheless” are noticeable and can distract the reader. Build a wider set of natural housing-related expressions and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if we save renting cost for 5 years we can buy a house” and contrast clauses beginning with “However” and “but.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships difficult to follow. Examples include “people are refuse to rent,” “rented house has a regulations,” and “They limit the maximum number of people allow live in these houses.” Articles, verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries need particular attention. The opening also runs several ideas together, and the final body paragraph contains a comma splice. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then review articles and punctuation.
