Student answer (Band 5.0)

In some nations many individuals prefer owing a home is crucial rather than renting one. I believe this a positive circumstance, because owing accommodation is convenience, earn more money and do not take pressure to leave home.

To begine with, there are numerous reason, owing accommdation is convenience. When a citizen build a 3 storeyed building in dhaka, earning one lakh taka per month, as it is a beneficial for him and his family. if a people have own home, thus he ofthen has hobby to gurdening around his home; in additon, owning home has several opportunity, such as no fixed time at night, plant's garden, and so on. For example, in country side, many people want to have a small owning home, due to lots of citizen are conduct low-incom family, while they may unable to give rent every month.

Another advantage is individuals have not pressure to abandon the home. A large number of individuals stay in dhaka to take renting house, they may face difficulties several way every month. For instance, a jobholder live in comilla to take rent and he buy lots of furniture and indside the house decorates well, if he leave this accommodation, he may loss large number of amount and faces difficulties. Having a own house convenience for individuals.

In conclusion, owing a home give individuals lots of facility such as convenience and earning more money to give rent, at the same time citizens do not force for rent per month.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a clear overall view that home ownership is positive and offer two relevant reasons: it can provide convenience and reduce the pressure of having to move. However, the explanation of why owning a home is especially important in some countries is only partly developed. The Dhaka example and the reference to low-income families suggest financial and cultural reasons, but these points are not clearly explained or connected to the question. The claim that ownership helps people “earn more money” is also not supported; the essay instead discusses avoiding rent. The conclusion repeats the main benefits rather than adding clarity. The response is two words below the required minimum. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a specific, relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly separate the reasons, and phrases such as “To begin with,” “Another advantage,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. The first body paragraph moves from a building in Dhaka to gardening and then to low-income families without clearly linking these examples. Some connections are also awkward or unclear, such as “if a people have own home, thus…” and the long sentence beginning “For instance, a jobholder…”. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear sequence, with pronouns and linking phrases that show how each example supports it.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “renting,” “accommodation,” “furniture,” and “low-income family,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “owing” for “owning,” “convenience” where “convenient” is needed, “take renting house,” and “hobby to gurdening.” There are also repeated general words such as “individuals,” “home,” and “difficulties,” which restrict precision. Aim to learn common housing collocations and check spelling and word forms. More accurate phrases such as “avoid paying monthly rent” and “have greater control over their living space” would express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including conditional forms such as “if he leave this accommodation…” and a reason clause introduced by “because.” This shows an effort to vary sentence patterns, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “I believe this a positive circumstance” is missing a verb, while “a jobholder live” has a subject–verb agreement error. Articles and noun forms are also problematic in “Having a own house” and “there are numerous reason.” Several long sentences combine clauses without clear grammatical control, particularly the furniture example. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences using one clear main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause.
