Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this modern world people are related to buissnes tend to rent a house rather than buying. So in some countries people rent a house rather than owning in a positive mindset. It help them to invest money in their buisness while people who are related job they might have to move from one city to other city so they aviod to own house.
The people who are in army, police or any security aggency have to move from city to other city due to their posting, so these kind of people does not wish to buy a house and feel more comfortable to rent a house. On the other side people who are related to any buissnes try to rent a house to safe the money for investments in their buissnes, as they khow that it will give them more profit, e.g many billioner does not have their own houses.
Additionaly, the people who does not have lot invest they also try to rent a house. In some cases people who have dual nationality does not own the houses, as they might thing think that they have to live few month in country and few month in other country and they are also worried about who will look after their houses then they move abroad.
In conclusion, i would like to say thet owning a house will be good investment for those people who does not have such issue like job, buissnes, dual nationality. While people with such major reason, renting a house is positive thinking. As owning a house might take whole investments of life for many people in Pakistan.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give several relevant reasons why people may prefer renting, including work-related relocation, business investment, and living between countries. The conclusion also indicates that renting can suit people with these circumstances, while owning may be a good investment for others. However, the response only partly answers the prompt: it focuses mainly on why some people rent, rather than explaining why owning a home is especially important in some countries. Your view on whether that importance is positive or negative is also not stated clearly or consistently; the opening appears to discuss renting, while the conclusion calls ownership a good investment but renting positive for some people. Develop the cultural or financial reasons for valuing ownership and give a direct, sustained judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with reasons grouped in the body and a concluding paragraph. Examples such as people in the army or police needing to relocate are placed together, which helps the reader follow that point. However, there is no clear overall progression from the question of why home ownership matters to an evaluation of whether this is positive or negative. Linking phrases such as “On the other side” and “Additionaly” do not always show the relationship between ideas accurately, and several points are added without being connected or developed. The conclusion introduces a distinction between people with and without particular circumstances rather than clearly resolving the argument. Organise the essay around a clear position and use references and transitions to show how each reason supports it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “rent,” “owning a house,” “investments,” “posting,” and “dual nationality,” so the main subject is generally understandable. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as “look after their houses” and “move from one city to other city.” However, vocabulary is limited and repeated, and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, including “related to buissnes,” “safe the money,” and “positive thinking.” Frequent spelling errors such as “buissnes,” “aviod,” “aggency,” and “billioner” also affect readability. Build a more accurate range for discussing housing and financial decisions, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause in “as they might think that they have to live few month in country and few month in other country.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “It help them,” “these kind of people does not wish,” and “people who does not have,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Articles and plurals are also often missing, as in “buy a house,” “few month,” and “in country.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly where sentences run together. Practise accurate agreement, articles, and plural forms before adding more complex structures.
