Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many nations buying a house or owning a home is considerd more desirable than renting a home is a very significant for the individuals. In my opinion it is completely depends or varies person to person and many people often associate home ownership to financial or future stabiliy although owning a house has a several advantages, whether it is better than renting depends on a individual's finacial condition and income or lifestyle.

On the one hand, people perfer owning a house and it is acceptable because it have many good outcomes like financial security or permanant place to live. People often buy lands or homes because they find it as a investment and they know that, in future the prices of the land will increase over the time. In adition, the major importance is their is no landlord restriction, you can do whatever you want and no one going againt you.

On the other hand, renting a home also have its own advantages and disadvantages. First, people with certain income and moderate financial stability choose renting a house. Renting a house is also a investment because the house is giving them a shelter to live, and they have freedom there. But there can be some problems related to living in rented house like high expensive rent, maintainance cost which can fluctuate you financial system.

In conclusion, both renting and owning a house is great and it is depends on the person's financial income and traveling routine. In adition, there are many individual to always move city to city for their work, so they should live in renting apartment or home. While those who have good settled future there and want complete freedom, so they can buy their home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the prompt: you suggest that ownership offers financial security and freedom from a landlord, and you give a view that the choice depends on circumstances. However, the position is not fully consistent. The opening says the issue “varies person to person,” while the conclusion calls both options “great,” so it remains unclear whether you consider the strong preference for ownership positive or negative overall. Some relevant points are also under-developed: for example, rising property prices are mentioned, but you do not explain how this benefits owners or why it makes ownership important in these countries. State a direct overall judgement and develop each reason with a clear explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the comparison, and the ideas generally follow a sensible order. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. In the renting paragraph, “Renting a house is also a investment because the house is giving them a shelter” does not clearly connect to the point about financial circumstances. The conclusion also introduces moving for work without developing this idea earlier. Use clearer links between claims and explanations, and make sure each paragraph develops one central point before moving to the next.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “financial security,” “landlord restriction,” “moderate financial stability” and “maintainance cost,” which helps communicate the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make parts less natural or occasionally unclear. For instance, “the prices of the land will increase over the time” is awkward, and “fluctuate you financial system” does not express the intended effect clearly. There are also repeated basic terms such as “house,” “home” and “good.” Build a more precise range for discussing housing costs, investment and flexibility, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “although” and clauses beginning with “because” and “while.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “it is completely depends,” “it have many good outcomes,” and “both renting and owning a house is great.” The opening sentence also combines several ideas without a clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and separating long sentences into shorter units; then check articles and singular/plural agreement. This will make your meaning more consistently clear.
