Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that owning a home is preferable, and you offer relevant reasons: it provides a stable, secure place for a family and avoids monthly rent. However, the response only partly develops the task. The opening says you will discuss “a process to be own the house,” which does not clearly identify the reasons, and the later points about using rent money for tours, shopping, or meals are not explained as strongly as the security and stability points. The answer also shifts between general claims and personal-sounding examples without clarifying why home ownership is especially important in some countries. State the reasons directly, then explain and support each one in a focused way.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation: the response moves from an introduction to reasons about security and rent, then gives a concluding preference for buying. The two main body sections also broadly separate these ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear, and the opening’s “first” and “secondly” do not accurately preview the points that follow. Several ideas are placed next to one another without showing their relationship, while repeated references to “home” and “rent” make the writing feel repetitive. The conclusion restates the preference but repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Use clear topic sentences, connect each explanation to its main point, and use referencing such as “this security” or “these savings” to reduce repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses a limited but relevant set of vocabulary, including “stable address,” “safe place,” “income,” and “savings,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, noticeable word-choice, spelling, and collocation problems sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “a process to be own the house,” “rent at month,” and “a happy happy feel” are not natural English, and “recommendate” is an incorrect word form. The repeated use of “home,” “rent,” and “happy” also limits variety. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases—for example, “monthly rent,” “financial security,” and “a sense of belonging”—and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentence patterns, including explanations introduced by “which” and “as a result,” but control is limited and errors occur frequently. The opening, “it is often argued that some countries owing a house rather than rent,” lacks a complete, correctly formed clause. Other examples include “own a home is dream many person” and “if a person home thakle,” where sentence structure, articles, and agreement are not controlled. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several sentences running together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using conjunctions. Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete clauses; these changes would make your ideas much easier to understand.
