Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that home ownership offers freedom and control, and you indicate that you see it as positive. The examples of choosing “home decoration” and having “long-term financial benefits” are relevant, but they are asserted rather than explained. The reasons why owning a home is especially important in some countries are not clearly established; the opening reference to different taxes, property rates and inflation does not show how these factors create that preference. Your discussion of renters’ difficulties adds a related contrast, but the position is not consistently developed. The response is also 15 words below the required minimum. Develop the country-specific reasons and explain each main point with a clear example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, a contrast about renting, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “First and most,” “On the other hand,” and “Overall” help signal these stages. However, the progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph shifts from national rules to renting, personal choice, financial benefits and children’s memories without showing how the points connect. Some links are also awkward or repetitive, and the contrast between owners and renters is not always clearly organised. Group related ideas together, use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s purpose, and make references such as “these people” and “these type problem” precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to housing and its effects, including “property rates,” “long-term financial benefits,” “low income,” and “freedom.” This gives you some means of expressing the topic, but the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the message difficult to understand. For example, “free rights,” “lost brain sense,” and “tense serves in life” do not communicate your intended meaning clearly; “home applications arrangement” is also an unclear phrase. Spelling errors such as “diffirent,” “poeple,” and “arrengement” further reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate housing collocations and check spelling, word forms, and whether each phrase expresses your intended idea.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “while” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “people should owning a home,” “every country have,” and “owning a home to allow people doing everything their own choice.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly where several ideas are joined in the first body paragraph. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb patterns after modal verbs, and complete clause structures. For instance, use “people should own a home” and “owning a home allows people to make their own choices.”
