The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The line graph tracks number of tourists visiting a Caribbean island in recent years.

The data provide on graph gives result in million of peoples. First of all , visitors who stayed on cruise ships in 2010 were 0.25 million people. In this era, visitors who stayed on island were more than 0.5 million individuals.

After one year in 2011 , this ratio was constant to the past year. However in 2012 there was drop in visitors of staying on cruise. On other hand, there was enhance in individuals who were stayed on island.

In time of 2013, there were made a increase in both visitors who stayed on island as well as on cruise ships. In 2015, the visitors crossed one million figure in both segments. On other side total population reached at 2.75 million.

In year 2016, there was first time drop in visitors of staying on island. However, visitors staying on cruise ships were grown. At last year of graph, both lines were growing with speed and reached at 3.5 million visitors.
