The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates the number of tourists who visited a Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017. It also shows whether the visitors stayed on the island or on cruise ships. The figures are given in millions.
Overall, the total number of tourists increased significantly during the period. While visitors staying on the island were initially more common, cruise ship visitors eventually became the larger group.
In 2010, the island received approximately 1 million tourists in total. Around 0.75 million stayed on the island, while only about 0.25 million stayed on cruise ships. By 2012, the total number of visitors had risen to 1.5 million. The number staying on the island also increased to around 1.25 million.
From 2013 onwards, cruise ship tourism grew considerably. The number of cruise ship visitors increased from approximately 0.5 million in 2013 to 2 million in 2017. In comparison, the number of tourists staying on the island remained relatively stable at around 1.5 million for much of this period, although it briefly fell to approximately 1.25 million in 2016. Consequently, the total number of tourists reached 3.5 million in 2017, the highest figure shown on the graph.
