Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to provide a clear overview of the main trends. The introduction is informal and includes irrelevant commentary ('Today we will discuss on it'). The body of the response is essentially a repetitive list of figures rather than a synthesis of the information. While the data points are generally accurate, the lack of analytical grouping or meaningful comparison means the main features are not effectively highlighted. The response does not adequately address the requirement to report the main features and make relevant comparisons, resulting in a mechanical presentation of data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The organization is highly fragmented. The response lacks a logical structure, relying on a series of short, repetitive sentences that follow a rigid, list-like format. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link ideas; instead, the writer uses repetitive phrases like 'in [year] to [year]' to start almost every sentence. Paragraphing is present but ineffective, as the content within the paragraphs is not logically sequenced or developed. The referencing is unclear, and the overall progression of information is disjointed, making the text difficult to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very limited and repetitive. The writer uses the same basic phrases repeatedly, such as 'visitor staying on island' and 'cruise ship'. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'millon', 'vistior', and 'approuched'. The language lacks the precision and variety required for an academic task. There is no attempt to use synonyms or more sophisticated vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'fluctuated', 'peaked', or 'remained stable'. The lexical range is insufficient to convey information clearly and effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting almost entirely of simple, repetitive sentence structures. There are frequent and systematic errors in basic grammar, including subject-verb agreement ('cruise ship have approuched'), article usage, and tense consistency. Punctuation is also problematic, with inconsistent spacing and capitalization. The lack of complex sentence structures and the high frequency of errors significantly impede the clarity of the writing. The response does not demonstrate control over basic grammatical rules, which makes the text difficult to read.
