The line graph illustrates fluctuations in the number of tourists who visited a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, the Caribbean island became very popular with a substantial number of tourists increasing every year, and the figures for visitors who preferred to stay on the ship surpassed the people who stayed on the island.
The total number of tourists visiting the Caribbean island began at 1 million in 2010. The numbers surged consistently until 2017, reaching 3.5 million visitors.
In 2010, the people who preferred to stay on cruise ships stood at under 0.5 million, while the tourists staying on the island was over 0.5 million. The former rose sharply, reaching 1 million visitors in 2014, and the latter increased to 1.5 million visitors in 2013 and remained relatively stable at that level. However, the figures for visitors staying on cruise ships surpassed the visitors staying on the island in 2016, and the figures continued to rise, standing at 2 million visitors by 2017.
