The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph gives information about the ratio of people travelling to a specific Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, it can be seen that the total number of visitors, experienced the most siginificant increase, whereas visitos staying on cruise ships witnessed the overall decline over the given period.

Now turning to the details, visitors staying at the cruise ships showed fluctuation in the starting years fromm 2010 to 2012 and then there was a notable increase in the visitors around 1.5 millions throughout the period. Secondly, visitors nearly 0.9 millions staying on the islands remained stable between 2010 and 2011. Afterwards, it rose in the next two years respectively and there was constant number of visitors from 2013 to 2015. After that it depicit decrease in visitors roughly 1.3 millions in 2016. In the contrast, the total number of visitors of 3.5 millionsdemonstrated enormous peak throughout the period.
