The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph illustrates the number of tourists visited proper Caribbean island between the year 2010 and 2017. The units were measured in Millions.

Overall, number of torurists stayed in cruise ships and on island were crossed each other between the year 2015 and 2016, while total number of visitors increased by every year from 2010 to 2017.

To begin with, number of visitors stayed in cruise and island were accounted for 0.3 millions and 0.75 millions respectively for the year 2010. On an average proportion of staying in cruise and island were increased every year, however the line of both interact with each other at around 1.4 millions tourists in the year between 2015 and 2016 and then it rose to 2 millions for staying on cruise while it remains around 1.5 millions for island.

In Addition total number of visitors stayed in both were noted around 1 million, while it remained same for 2015 and 2016 at 2.7 million and went to 3.5 millions tourists in 2017.
