Then, traveller staying on island dramatically rose and reached 1.5 million in 2013 and remain constant for next 2 years .At last it started decreasing after 2015 and reached around 1.2 million in 2016 and rose again in same level as 2015.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response partially addresses the task by attempting to report the main features and trends of the graph, but it contains significant inaccuracies and a lack of clarity in data reporting. For instance, the writer states that visitors staying on cruise ships 'have fluctuated for some years but rose rapidly', whereas the graph actually shows a clear upward trend from 2012 onwards. Furthermore, there is confusion between the two categories: the writer mentions that 'guest staying on island seen rapid growth from 2012 and reached 2 million in 2017', while the visual data clearly indicates that 2 million in 2017 represents visitors staying on cruise ships. The overview is basic and lacks precision, and the response includes irrelevant personal speculation at the end regarding a 'financial budget problem'. To reach a higher band, the student must accurately report the data without mixing up categories and provide a clear, factual overview of the main trends.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates some organization with paragraphs and basic transitional phrases such as 'Overall', 'Initially', and 'Finally', but it lacks a clear overall progression. The sequencing of information is confusing because the categories are mixed up between paragraphs; for example, cruise ship visitors and island visitors are conflated across the body paragraphs. Cohesive devices are used mechanically and sometimes inaccurately, such as using 'Finally' to introduce a paragraph that repeats or confuses previously discussed trends. Paragraphing is attempted, but the logical flow is disrupted by contradictory statements and poor referencing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of data. To improve, the student should ensure that each paragraph has a distinct focus, such as one for cruise visitors and one for island visitors, and use clearer referencing words to link ideas smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task, with noticeable errors that occasionally impede communication. While the student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'fluctated', 'dramatically', and 'rapid growth', there are frequent spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'caribbean' (capitalization issue), 'traveller' instead of travellers, and confusing 'guest' with 'tourists'. Furthermore, imprecise terms like 'The quantity of visitors will be written in Million' reflect a restricted lexical range. To achieve a higher band, the writer needs to incorporate a wider and more precise range of vocabulary related to data trends (e.g., verbs and adverbs of change) and eliminate basic spelling and word-form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response uses a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic compound constructions. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to grammar and punctuation errors that cause difficulty for the reader. There are noticeable errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles throughout the text, such as 'number visitors staying', 'have fluctated', 'remain constant for next 2 years' (missing articles and incorrect tense), and 'visitor staying on island were almost same'. Punctuation is also weak, with missing spaces after periods in several places. To progress to a higher band, the student must demonstrate better control over basic grammatical structures, ensure correct verb tense consistency when describing past data, and reduce the frequency of errors in plurals and articles.
