Firstly, the visitors staying on land of caribbean island, remained the same uptill 2011 from 2010 at approximately 0.7 million people,But later on the number of visitors onto island land agressively rose to the peak of 1.5 million yearly visitors by year 2013, and afterwards this figure of vistors leveled off for 2 more years, before the visitors figure fell to about 1.2 million people in 2016 and for 2017 the visitors number reached back to that of peak figure at 1.5 million.

On other hand, the attendees number who visited the caribbean and stayed over cruise ships, increased slightly by a quarter million people by 2011 from 2010, However the increase was nilled off when there was a drop in visitors of cruise ships on caribbean island by the next year of 2012.But after all, the attendance over cruise ships of caribbean got a revive, as the visitors number noticeably surged by 1.75 million people from 2012 to 2017, And that surge of cruise ship visitors along with peak figures of inland caribbean island visitors, reflected the significant rise in overall tourists to caribbean island from 1 million people to 3.5 million people yearly, during the given timeframe.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

The response successfully covers all parts of the task by reporting the main features, trends, and key comparisons from the graph. You provide a clear overview at the beginning, noting the general upward trajectory of the figures and distinguishing between the two tourist categories. Key data points—such as the peak figures in 2013 and 2017 and the overall growth from 1 million to 3.5 million—are accurately identified and described. While the ideas are well-supported and extended throughout the body paragraphs, a tendency to slightly over-generalise or express figures approximately without tighter data synthesis prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Nevertheless, all requirements of a well-structured task overview and detailed feature breakdown are solidly met.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response demonstrates a clear overall progression and logically sequences information from an introductory overview into detailed body paragraphs focusing on separate trends. Paragraphing is used adequately to divide the main data sets. Cohesive devices are employed to connect ideas, such as "Firstly", "On other hand", and "After all", though some of these links are slightly mechanical or awkward in style. Referencing is generally clear, but occasional clunky transitions and punctuation issues around connectors pull the response into the half-band territory, fully satisfying the lower band while showing some elements of logical sequencing and organisation typical of the next level.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items and descriptive phrases such as "agressively rose", "leveled off", and "noticeably surged". However, there are noticeable spelling errors ("caribbean" instead of Caribbean, "prefered", "despit", "uptill", "agressively", "vistors", "revive") and occasional word choice and collocation inaccuracies, such as "attendees number" or "stayed over cruise ships". These lexical slips and spelling errors occasionally cause minor friction for the reader, which places your performance squarely at this level. To improve, focus on mastering common spelling patterns and using precise collocations for statistical reporting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The text displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and multi-clause sentences to describe trends. However, there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and article usage—such as missing or incorrect articles ("on land of caribbean island", "on other hand"), awkward preposition choices, and run-on sentences with comma splices (e.g., "from 2012 to 2017, And that surge..."). While these errors do not totally obscure your meaning, they persist throughout the response and cause some difficulty for the reader. Working on punctuation boundaries, subject-verb agreement, and article placement will significantly enhance your grammatical control.
