Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
The response fails to provide an appropriate Academic Task 1 summary. Instead of reporting the main trends and making comparisons from the graph, the text includes personal commentary and irrelevant opinions, such as 'its about choice some would love to go in desserts some people likes the forest its about their nature lets move to the topic'. Furthermore, the data from the chart is severely misreported and lacks any clear overview of the overall changes between 2010 and 2017. The response addresses the task only minimally and tangentially, resulting in a low score for this criterion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The text suffers from a lack of logical organisation and clear progression. The writing is presented as a single block paragraph without any logical divisions between introduction, body details, and overview. Cohesive devices are largely absent or misused, and conversational transitions such as 'lets move to the topic' disrupt the formal academic tone. Information is not arranged coherently, making it difficult for the reader to follow a logical development of ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Vocabulary use is basic, repetitive, and strained by numerous word choice and spelling errors. For instance, words like 'statisfied' are misspelled, and phrases such as 'felt some different pleasure' or 'most peak time' demonstrate a very limited grasp of appropriate collocations for describing statistical data. The range of vocabulary is inadequate for reporting trends effectively, often causing strain for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammatical structures are extremely limited, consisting mostly of simple or run-on sentences joined without proper punctuation. There are frequent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and article usage, such as 'people starts to visit' and 'after year passing number of tourists start increasing'. Punctuation is largely neglected throughout the text, and these persistent errors frequently impede communication.
