Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers and books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. I agree that people want to read books and newspaper in online without paying because people do not waste money. Other people do not buy newspaper because it has saving money in future.
One reason is that cheap and convients because some people are read a newspapers and books to online mode. it is easy to access and cheap. people are very convinent to read a books and newspapers. For example, In Pakistan, all the social media and plateform are access to free download books or newspaper because people are easy to read without paying. Moreover, paper is save and not any budget. Online news are upload in every second and people are easily access and free of cost.
Other reason that is printed book or newspaper are very own value. Many people are read newspapers and books on paper because it said that eyes are protected without watch the screen. For example, in pakistan, many old people are read book and newspaper on paper because old people are enjoy read on paper. Old people are prefer to printed newspapers and books because they do not comfortable on technology.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that all people want to read newspapers and books on online including mobile phone and other device and other old people want to printed a books or newspapers because they are enjoy and they do not comfortable on technology but i agree that people want to read on online withouth paying.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall view that you agree with the statement, and you include relevant points about free online access and older readers’ preference for print. However, the response only partially addresses the question: it does not explain whether *nobody* will buy printed material, and the contrast in your second body paragraph suggests that some people will continue to choose print. Develop this qualification and support each reason with clearer explanation. The examples about Pakistan and older people are relevant but remain general. The response is also 4 words below the 250-word minimum; the 22 words copied from the task prompt are not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs also separate the points about online reading and printed material. However, progression is limited: the introduction repeats the prompt, and the conclusion largely repeats the same ideas rather than drawing them together. Linking phrases such as “One reason,” “Moreover,” and “Other reason” help signal points, but some connections are unclear or mechanical. For example, the second body paragraph introduces the value of print, yet the conclusion returns to strong agreement without resolving this contrast. Make the relationship between your reasons clearer and use pronouns or transitions to connect ideas more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small set of relevant terms, including “printed newspapers,” “online,” “free of cost,” and “technology,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is limited and repeated, especially “people,” “read,” “books,” and “newspapers.” Several word choices or collocations are inaccurate and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow, such as “paper is save,” “all the social media and plateform are access,” and “very own value.” Spelling errors such as “convients,” “convinent,” and “withouth” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider range of topic vocabulary and check how words combine; for instance, describe online material as “available at no cost” and print as having “lasting value.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including examples introduced with “because” and “For example.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, verb forms, agreement, articles and plurals. Examples include “people are read a newspapers,” “it has saving money,” and “old people are enjoy read on paper.” These errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “it is easy to access and cheap. people are very…” Practise forming accurate subject–verb sentences, then combine them with a controlled range of clauses. Check articles and singular/plural forms before submitting.
