Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The response makes a limited attempt to address the topic by referring to future online reading and contrasting newspapers and books with the internet. However, it does not clearly answer “to what extent” you agree or disagree: “today, i will discuss both view” promises a discussion, but no position or developed argument follows. The response also stops mid-idea at “all children and students,” so there is no explanation or supporting example. The required minimum length is not met, which leaves the task substantially incomplete. To improve, state your position directly, then develop relevant reasons and examples about whether free online access will replace printed materials.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, and phrases such as “some people believe” and “other people” signal contrasting views. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the ideas are not completed or connected into a developed argument. The final line, “A key arguement, that it can be seen in future all children and students,” is unfinished, and the promised discussion does not proceed. The opening sentence also combines several ideas without clear punctuation. Use separate paragraphs for your position and each main reason, and connect each point with clear, accurate transitions so the reader can follow the argument from introduction to conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response shows some topic-related vocabulary, including “newspaper,” “books,” “internet,” and “new information,” so the general subject is identifiable. There are also attempts to express contrasting opinions. However, the range is narrow and several spelling and word-choice problems make the meaning less clear, such as “everone,” “everthing,” “arguement,” and “thinkers” where “think” or “believe” is intended. Phrases such as “to much benefits” and “not spend waste time” are not natural English collocations. Build a more accurate range around the topic—for example, “digital publications,” “printed media,” and “access information online”—and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts to use more than isolated simple statements, including a reason clause beginning “since” and a contrast between “some people” and “other people.” However, sentence structures are not yet controlled consistently. For example, “will be able go to internet and online read” is missing grammatical elements, while “today, i will discuss both view after presting in my opinion” does not form a clear, complete sentence. The final sentence fragment also lacks a complete main clause. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add clauses with “because,” “although,” or “while.” Check articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries, and capitalise “I” and the beginnings of sentences.
